NFL QB Rankings

There's an interesting piece on espn.com that ranks the NFL's 64 starting and back-up quarterbacks.

The top ten, according to the article:
  1. Tom Brady
  2. Peyton Manning
  3. Brett Farve
  4. Tony Romo
  5. Ben Roethlisberger
  6. Carson Palmer
  7. Matt Hasselbeck
  8. Drew Brees
  9. Donovan McNabb
  10. David Garrard
What's cool, though, is that they take the list one step further and do an NCCAA Tourney bracket kinda thing and have a "playoffs" (first seed plays last, second seed plays next-to-last, etc.)

They give three rounds before the quarter finals, which ends up:
  • Brady def. Brees
  • P. Manning def. Hasselbeck
  • Favre def. Palmer
  • Romo def. Roethlisberger
Semifinals:
  • Brady def. Romo
  • P. Manning def. Favre
Finals:
  • Brady def. P. Manning

Needless to say, my wife (who's a football fan) would be rolling her eyes right now. I thought it was kinda cool and it's my blog, so there ...
